A boat takes you from Östra hamnen in Västerås to Ooops Hotell in the archipelago. While Ooops Hotell gives the illusion of being a large house that has sunk to the bottom of the lake, leaving no one untouched, it offers some luxury accommodation. The hotel is surrounded on three sides by an almost 100 square metre large deck that offers spectacular views of the water and the beautiful Västerås archipelago.

The hotel consists of one very spacious room and a sauna. The kitchen equipment includes a hot plate, a dinner service, a 10-litre can of fresh water and a cooler. The hotel also has a Pacto toilet. Although Ooops has no electricity the woodburner in the sauna provides heat and the lamps are run on solar power.

The large deck with its ladder is perfect for sunbathing and swimming and guests can also use the rubber dinghy and disposable barbecue stand.
