Västmanlands läns museum (County Museum)
The museum aims to improve and convey knowledge about the cultural heritage of Västmanland, to improve insight into the past and to enrich the perspective of the present and the future.
Västmanland’s County Museum is now situated at Karlsgatan 2, where it shares its premises with Västerås Art Museum.

You can visit their exhibitions, go on guided tours, read, study or even get some advice from the personnel on how to renovate old buildings. Karlsgatan 2 also has a café, which serves coffee, cakes and lunches, and a gift shop.
