Almö-Lindö is a car-free island in the bay that is only about 7 km from Västerås harbour. There are currently around 145 plots of land on the island, about 120 summerhouses and fourteen all-year-round homes, as well as some lovely beaches and footpaths.

 

The one farm on the island is run by the Andersson family, who live here all year round. As well as growing crops and keeping cows, they look after the island’s roads and woods.
